Item updated from library not found in library

I have a Samsung HG55Q60AANFXZA in my project. When running a submittals report, the item shows up without an image and the link to the datasheet doesn't work.

In my catalog, I searched for the item and located it. Righ-click 'Update from library'.

It appears to find a match and I update the catalog.

I return to my project and update the item from catalog.

I open the item and see both a large image and a thumbnail, the file tab shows files and links.

What is really odd is when I open the item and choose Web -> Library, the item cannot be found. So it seems like there is data but there is also no data.
