Project Explorer 'Open' button is sluggish in v21

I have been finding that after clicking the 'Open' button from the project explorer to revieal the drop down, it takes 1-2 seconds for the drop down to appear. Often I will re-click it thinking I hadn't clicked it correctly and it will then close the drop down after showing it.
