Quick Filter Dialog Speed Up

Could you spend a little time on the procedure that opens up the "Quick Filter" view in the project editor. I use this quite frequently when creating projects, and the button takes about 3 seconds to open up and populate on my computer. This really slows down my speed in proposal creation and my thought process. My typical order of work is to filter a location, work on it and then press the "Reset" button and immediately "Quick Filter" again to another location.
