Optional Items on a partial project approval

I would like to request the ability to add optional items to a change order at the point a project is approved.

During the sales process, we often include optional items that a client is interested in but may not have the budget to approve initially. Once the project is approved and underway, clients frequently decide to move forward with some of those optional items.

Currently, there is no straightforward way to transfer those optional items into a change order on the approved project. As a result, we must manually recreate the items. The current process for partial approval of items can affect contract values, reporting, and miscellaneous item calculations.

It would be extremely helpful if D-Tools allowed optional items from the original proposal to be selected and converted into a change order after project approval. This would create a cleaner workflow, maintain continuity between the original proposal and the approved project, and ensure that the project documentation accurately reflects the client's decisions throughout the lifecycle of the project.
