Synching Project items with Service Plan items

It would be nice if we could sync Service Plan items to Project Items so when creating a service plan for an existing Project, we can import Project items into the SP and it will automatically populate the # of Service Plan items based on # of items in Project.
Example: I have a Project with 4 DMPS3-4K- processors on a Project. I have a Service Plan item for supporting Processors. When I import items from Project into SP it automatically populates the Service Plan items by # of Processors. So when I create a SP for that project and select import items from Project, I am presented with a SP that shows 4 DMPS3's and 4 Processor Support items.
