Automatically Clock Out of Previous Task

Current Behavior
Our technicians use Mobile Installer to clock in and out of tasks throughout the day. For example:

  1. Technician clocks into Drive Time.

  2. Technician arrives onsite and clocks into Install Camera.

  3. If they forget to clock out of Drive Time first, they are now clocked into both tasks at the same time.

This creates overlapping time entries and causes issues with our payroll process.Feature Request
Can Mobile Installer automatically clock a technician out of their current task when they clock into a new task?Ideally, a technician could only be clocked into one task at a time. Starting a new task would automatically end the previous task at the same timestamp.Example:

  • 8:00 AM – Clock into Drive Time

  • 8:45 AM – Clock into Install Camera

  • Drive Time automatically ends at 8:45 AM

This would prevent overlapping time entries without requiring the technician to remember to manually clock out of each task first.
