Creating and updating tasks in the planning area

While laying out the framework for a project in the plans area under tasks, I am having an issue with the tasks not staying in the order i put them after a refresh. Also, after adding items into the checklist of a task, the background screen refreshes and many tasks disappear and I have to refresh again to get them to return. Last when selecting the phase of the project to assign each task, it does not save and all tasks revert to engineering.
