App/Module: D-Tools SI Desktop
Problem/Current Behavior: To find information, a user must first navigate to the specific module where they believe the information resides (e.g., Projects, Tasks, Service Orders, Catalog) and then perform a search within that module. There is no centralized search feature, which is inefficient.
Proposed Solution: Implement a universal or global search bar, prominently placed in the main application interface. When a user enters a query, this tool should search across all major modules (Projects, Tasks, Service Orders, Products, Contacts, etc.) and present the results in a categorized or unified list.
Benefit: This will dramatically speed up information retrieval for all office staff. It allows users to find what they need quickly and efficiently without having to guess which module contains the data, saving significant time and improving overall workflow
