Re-assign 'enter' when building checklists

IDK if others have the same issue, but when I am building a checklist. I inadvertantly keep pressing enter instead of tab to lock in the checklist item and it erases the text I entered and closes the checklist. Can we please make the enter key do nothing or lock in the item and move to the next cell?
