Selecting multiple Tasks in the Gantt view is a chore!

If I use shift+click to select tasks, it works great. If I need to use ctrl+click, it's a major chore involving having to click on tasks twice, and being sure to not click on the task name lest your selection disappear. It can be frustrating when needing to select multiple tasks.
