Wildcard Seach in project editor

In project editor, would a wildcard search be helpful and easy for many.

So if a cable comp ID is WIR-CAT-010, I can search in search box for "CAT-010" to get it in result.

in case of wildcard, we might be able to put in "CAT\*10" or just "CAT*10" to lookup.
