Project Explorer Column Abbreviations

It would be nice if the column names could auto-abbreviate when you shrink the column to be smaller than the name. The column names take up so much horizontal real estate

For example:

'Owner Furnished Equipment' can be abbreviate to 'OFE'

Also, the little pencil icon adds to this, if we need to indicate that this column is editable, then maybe it's just a slightly different shade on the BG color.
